Isn't it strange how they do that? "house swap"
When you read up about blue tits no where does it say they will start building in different places (like it does with other birds wren's etc)
However every single year I always have atleast 1 blue tit bring material into a few boxes before picking one, Before I started getting regular nests I always thought sign of nest material whether it be one piece or lots means she picked that 1 box, But I have had a female one year build nests in boxes all ready to line before finally picking the one box she wants.
At first I thought it might just be because I have lots of boxes so its giving them choice, However over the years on here i've seen it happening with people that only have 2 boxes etc.
Be interesting to see what box she finally goes for when she finally picks one Sammi.
