Thank you so much GBH for all your help. Yes I've got everything in place. My cables are av split video,audio and power. The video goes into the dvr via a BIN adapter and audio straight into the white audio socket. On mine channel 1 is video and audio. I've swapped a couple of cameras around to check the fault isn't in the box but so far no joy. I'm getting some audio but it's sort of white noise type sound. I've checked all the settings to make sure audio is enabled and the only thing that I could change is resolution but honestly don't know anything about that and when I tried each one it didn't seem to make a difference. I'll try today to get some support from Hikvision. Thanks to you and all the kind folk for the patience and advice I've received. Meanwhile my lady rooster decided last night to change boxes so who knows what today will bring. Take care.🙂
