A rather strange thing happened this morning - I watched Meg waking and stretching, hoping to see 3 or 4 eggs under her, when she got up off the nest cup exposing just one egg, and left the box. That was 30 minutes ago and she hasn't returned since!
Is this an egg she has just laid and there are others further down? If so, why leave it exposed for so long.
I am certain that there were two eggs in the nest two days ago...........
