If you sign in to you DVR
on the menu, select the record section
Click on parameters
Select the camera you want from the pull down menu
Click on more settings at bottom Leftish of the screen. It’s in a little box
From there you can tick record audio. On this section, you can adjust the record Pre and post record times too
