Thought I’d share this good news
Well, I’m pleased to say that a 10 acre piece of woodland behind my house have been given a TPO & wildlife protection order after many years of residents fighting to stop housing being built on it.
We have Silver birch, willow, hawthorn & some very large, very old Oak trees, which are under the order, so I’m well chuffed
Also the wildlife is beautiful,! Deer, Foxes, Badgers, lizards, bats, owls & cuckoos, birds of prey. There is also some swampland which obviously attracts other wildlife. I’m so so excited, as you will understand that I live in a city (albeit outer centre) but still a great result for us residents who enjoy lifes’ nature.
