Try your local rescue centres GBH,
Could be poorly and need help, I know you can also phone the RSPCA and they give you a code to take it the vets to be checked over and they pay the cost.
Although this wouldn't be any good for you since you dont want the cat, So best phoning up a local rescue and take it to them get him / her some help.
