Crumbs Kathy, I used to go to the Wakefield Archives too, if you went at the same times what a coincedence that would be! 
I went from 1994-1999 for Yorkshire roots, now use A******y for husband's & son-in-law's lot down south. I don't know about Chevet Hall being demolished so I'll have to google it.
