Really exciting time!! Look forward to seeing lots of pics of your garden as it develops. Regarding the female behaviour chipping the floor, Chico did the same,and when I cleaned it out after the season finished, she had chipped out a perfect indent cup shape if you like into the floor, so she mayby doing that.
