I've posted my sparrow box a few times over the years GBH, Its one from CJ Wildlife it has a little overhang / ledge under the entrance hole before they jump down into the nesting area.
I'll post a picture below of my box and link for it, Its been lucky with my sparrows, I have around 50 plus sparrows in garden and they never check out my boxes but they took a liking to this one.
