Hi there,
Since 2003 I have a birdbox from a uk-company ,Boxwatch( is not running anymore?), which is placed on my balcony in Hoek van Holland(Netherlands), 30 km from Rotterdam near the Northsea. The box itself is still in good condition with an entrance hole of 32mm, specially for great tit, which are here more common than the blue tit. Last years I have mostly 2 broods in the box. Nestbuilding starts nowadays early in March so there is time enough for a second nest ! At the moment there is already some moss in the box so it looks promising here again this year
