I wish you all the luck in the world, I had a cat problem with one of my boxes and I made like a “bouquet garnie “ with Lemon thyme & another strong smelling herb I can’t remember now, and laid it in the cats pathway to the nestbox & I have to say it was a massive success, I changed every few days so that the smell was strong (apparently they don’t like strong citrus smells)
Also there are some plastic strips with nobbles on, the strips are about an inch wide and you can nail/glue them on the roof of your nest box & the cats don’t like the uneven surface, it’s worth a try Taz
