There has been a fight in my tree box with 2 Great tits this evening.
The first GT isn’t my usual rooster, no white dot by the left eye and went to sleep in a totally different place in the box.
The GT to come in second was my usual rooster, with the white dot by the left eye (now named Dotty)
After the fight, Dotty returns to the tree box and is now currently asleep.
I’m not sure if Dotty is female or male.
I did think it was a female, she has roosted in the box since November 2019 and is very clean. The video I put up the other day of the double and 20 min visits, the consensus was that Dotty was a male. Definitely Dotty with the white dot, roosts it the box at night.
Is anyone as confused as me?
