National nest box week is just around the corner, I always buy a few cheap boxes and put them up in my local woodlands.
But I normally do this during January instead of February as we all know on here the birds start looking around alot earlier than mid / late February .
I have always wondered why they have this week in February instead of maybe January coming for the bird experts
All my boxes have been getting views from late December and during january visits have become more serious for a fair few of us.
