Karen, I'll set that idea up sometime this week, You can then make threads with all useful information and I'll make them sticky posts in the Hedgehog part. Sorry to hear about the dead hog I'd be upset myself If I seen one dead in our road. Phoned the hog centre I take my hogs to today for updates and the hogs I have taken all gaining weight and healthy. They all have names so the woman's put down on the notes our address to bring them back in Spring, She told me that they will come as pairs though, She said with you having a good number hedgehogs in your area we will give you double what you've brought in if that is okay with you, Of course I agreed, So in spring i'll be having atleast 6 coming back to the garden from the rescue she said the autumn babies get let go in pairs Male / Female in hopes they go on to breed in the area they are put in. Really good rescue centre, They have over 100 hogs at the moment 80% of them staying over the winter. Had a chat to the woman about my current two babies with their mum and she said leave it until end of month and see what they weight, If they aren't good enough weight we will take them off you for the winter but aslong as they have a good food supply and not out in the daytime they should reach a good weight if they near 400g.
