I must admit though it was cat meat that first attracted my first hog, You should try dog / cat wet food something with a strong smell, I have noticed the beef ones have a strong smell.
Hedgehogs rely on their smell to find food they have an unbelievable sense of smell.
I think a little bowl semi moist and some wet dog / cat food should do the trick at getting them into the garden, When you get your first one more will follow i'm telling you that!
