I think a new pair of sparrows are trying to overtake the sparrow box for next year today,
I went in the front garden this morning and a male sparrow was on top of the box calling and a female was sitting on the line.
I went inside turned camera on and female came into box and was checking it all over along with the male.
So I think this is a new pair turning to take ownership of the box for next years brood.
