Hello. I have no idea what I am doing, or where I should have started or how to start, really. I am old and computer illiterate - and truthfully, I am in Oz, and thought I was joining an Oz bird forum. But I might pop in here, to be pally.
I have rescued a wild corella that can't fly and was hoping to find someone with similar bird to give mine to, as a companion. Also have just taken on an unwanted hen, for rehoming. Only after I joined, did I notice English references... i just assumed if I asked for bird forums, the first ones would be same country...
One of my interests is pigeons in WW2. Sorry for dropping in on someone else's thread, feeling, overall, more than a silly twit,
I have a large number of birds here. A good 50 magpies hang about, each day and black headed ibis. I did have English sparrows here but they have disappeared with the arrival of the dreaded Indian mynah. I am told our sparrows are extra large, compared with their English cousins.
