I'm having to laugh about this baby bird Paul who only goes in your nestbox for the night - possibly frightened of the dark & wants his mum to protect him/her? Totally understandable, as I'm scared of spiders with big, hairy legs full stop & the only reason I haven't slept in our garage for these past red hot temps at night, is because I know the spiders are out at night & they may decide to crawl all over me!
