Just seen at least two of the young this morning. They’ve been fed from the mealworm feeder since fledging but parents have been to and fro flying away with the worms to the big trees in the lane. Haven’t seen anything of the youngsters up to now, but this morning at least two were in the tree near the feeder being fed. The tree is very well leaved now and makes it difficult to see so I don’t know if there’s still three.
Hopefully they will come to the feeder more now that they are getting stronger and beginning to gain their independence.i suppose another week or so and they’ll be on their own. 😫
