Just popped my head in to say thank you for your comments. Paul I see your little Sparrow is ready for the off, hope he will be able to fend for himself and that his instincts and awareness of predators is in-built. Beechnut- Can hear them but not see them, parents are fetching live food and going somewhere. I have seen two GT's and a Coal Tit in the garden which is weird as they have been invisible all season! Sue, Diane & Sammi -Yes, I only saw the 1st one go before we left for the Derbyshire Dales but thank goodness for my recorder and a great friend and neighbour who kept them fed and watched on the monitor for me. She texted me with an update every few hours!!! Hope you are all well, especially Diane who was infected with the dreaded lurgy
