Well, our six baby blue tits left the nest this morning - fairly early as they had gone by the time we looked at 7.45am. They haven't hung around either, no sign of them near the nest. The one unhatched egg is still sitting at the bottom of the nest. So that is another year's clutch of blue tits successfully out into the world - six fledged out of nine eggs is very satisfactory.
We will try to get the camera and software working better by next year and hope that we have another nest built, it is always lovely to watch the birds so intimately.
