Chicks a week old today, one has just disappeared, no idea what happened, 6 healthy chicks one day and 5 next day.
The remaining 5 all look healthy and the same size.
I took away the suet feeders Elle 2 days ago and they started taking the mealies.

While they were being fed broken pieces of suet, the parents had to prize their poo sacs from their rear ends some of the time, but now with only live food it just oozes out easily like toothpaste. So definitely a hydration issue with suet and sunflower diets when they’re very young.
