Thanks Chris, maybe was a small number and they have died gradually and been removed - know this can often happen in darkness. No good me guessing cause I just don’t know. That’s the awful thing without a camera. Would love to think they had fledged, but know that’s not possible as timings from nest being built, eggs being laid, incubation in progress, seeing feeding begin and egg shell coming out, faecal sacs etc. The timings tell me something has happened to them,but will never know what. Hate it.
