They always look big on camera. Last year we had 8 chicks that were abandoned a week before fledging.
We took them to the rescue centre and when they got them out I was amazed how small they were, not much bigger than a large bumble bee.
Ours at the moment are a 13 days old but in the box on camera , they look huge .
