Good heavens Paul - I haven't managed to check in for a few days & in my absence all hell has broken loose with your sparrow family! Those poor little birds being attacked so viciously by a female thug sparrow & such sad photos of them both 
- thank goodness yet again you lived up to your second name of "Knight in shining armour! Wonderful that your faith in the male sparrows is lived up to, as their dad did try his best to defend them.
It's no wonder that the worse injured one looks up to you like that, a surrogate father rescuing them, feeding & caring for them - at great sacrifice as well - doing without proper sleep & still carrying on for several more days. Anyway, get in as many cat-naps as you can & I'm sure your zombie look will disappear very quickly after a couple of 'proper' sleeps.
