I’m not a fan of starlings. We have loads in the winter. I don’t mind them feeding at the feeders but what gets me is the way they constantly squabble and fight and frighten everything else away. I’ve managed to keep them from eating all the mealworms but unless the dish is fixed in they tip it up and eat them from the floor.
I know they are on the decline but you wouldn’t know it around here.
