Thank you for the comments everyone Elle, No, I am thinking of buying live ones from pets at home and see if they use them. Maybe when the chicks are a little older week or above. Taz, Its just a 700tvl wired camera by Gardenature. The colour and quality as alot to do with an led light that runs off the camera power that is also inside the box from Greenfeathers. Best £9.99 I spent for each box, Brings out best in camera and colour in birds. I have done a thread on the led light in the tech part of the forum, Here is the link for all the info on the led light - birdboxdiaries.boards.net/thread/49/led-lighting-bird-boxesIts the light that makes all the difference, I do also lose abit of quality with my pictures / videos because I film them off the TV screen via my Iphone just make sure the outline of the telly isn't in shot when doing it haha its not linked up to a recorder or nothing. I just simply film it as I see it on my tv screen with my phone, But pictures and videos still turn out good even with losing some quality by doing this, I am not very tech to have my cameras all on recorders etc to get best quality out of them sadly!
