Kevin! Quote: "my little Jack Russel is called Max"  - that's funny, as our last dog was a rescued black lab already called Max - he was 2 when we got him, so we didn't change his name. The previous black lab we bought as a puppy in Constantine, Cornwall, so I went to the library looking for a Cornish name for him - Kye - which is Cornish for dog, so you can't get more basic than that! BTW, found out years later that I am not only related to the seller's wife, but Constantine is where my paternal Ancestors come from, plus County Durham as you already know.
