Yes, they aren't too reliable are they the wireless ones, I have one in my Starling box and picture breaks up often! but as you say if you have no power not much else you can do without digging the garden and putting a wired cable in. Even the equipment can be expensive to get anything good but all on here will say you can usually find something to suit your budget. Do you have a monitor or view through T.V?
