I’m pretty sure she is doing it accidentally Matt. I’ve watched her tuning the eggs, they come up so close to the edge each time I think it’s lucky there aren’t more out. This morning I caught her out feeding and there were 9 eggs in the nest. Didn’t have time to take a picture she was backin too quick. I am totally stumped to know what’s going on. The one that was out on the edge yesterday was back in last night. She must still be laying eggs, because she can’t possibly have got the first one back in .it was right at the front in a corner although I can’t see it. I assume it’s buried under the feathers. Going down to Weymouth today so will ask my son-in-law to show me how to finally put some pictures on. 👍
