I wonder if the removal is entirely accidental, Chris, or if she somehow knows that something is wrong with them? In any case, the fact that they haven't been incubated for a few days probably means that - at best - they wouldn't hatch until a few days after the others, even if they did get back into the cup. That would probably be bad news for the late hatching chicks having to compete with much bigger siblings. I reckon its best to leave well alone but I admit this is a puzzling situation. Would be great if you could post a pic!
