I don't think the cat hair will be the problem Chris in my opinion of course,
Our females cup is basically just cat hair I put out for her off grooming our cats.
Full cup is cat hair and a few feathers, They use the cat hair almost every year here.
Never had it cause a problem for them or be to soft or nothing like that.
Just sounds like she's made a cup to small for all the eggs shes laid, Could be a first time nest for her so she doesn't have experience on her hands.
I don't believe I have ever heard of this happening over the years on the old forum though.
Is the other 7 eggs ok still?
