Yes strange how their nests vary. Last year we had a very deep one, could hardly see how many eggs were in it.
This time when she’s sitting on the eggs I can see at least one at the side of her. Perhaps if she has a few less eggs she’ll stand a better chance of rearing them as she doesn’t seem to be covering them well.
