But 9 eggs this morning, same as the last two years, wonder if this pair are the same birds?
And I have had a Starling visit to the box but think they are already nesting, but it was a nice surprise!
Sue -Have you noticed anything more today, must have eggs surely, sounds like female nipped out for a comfort break and he wasn't told!
Diane -Andi very protective when I switched on this morning at 7am two birds in the box, thought for a moment I had two females because the other was standing over her while she was in the nest cup. Then I realised it was Andi & he had brought breakfast and was waiting for the coast to be clear before he flew out avoiding attention to the nest by other birds that were cawing away! He has done this twice this morning. Interesting isn't it?
