Sounds like that’s a very good possibility Ann. My male turned up with a treat in his beak this morning but obviously the missus wasn’t at home because he looked inside a couple of times then flew off still with it in his beak. Whether he found her or ate it himself I don’t know  . You are describing exactly what i’ve watching for Ann - him taking food in the box and feeding her - makes it far more probable then that she’s incubating.  I really hope so for you. You need to rig up that wildlife camera for yourself. Sue
