Earliest for me personally was 10th March,
I have seen over years (elizabeth and malcolms updates) the bird bringing some material in February but not getting really started until March.
Last year my side box female brought moss in November just one piece roosted all winter but didn't start building till April.
I think if your going get really early nest signs it be abit of material next month then serious building during March (if no bad cold snaps like last year)
