If you couldn't reach inside they may be egg in there you know, Yesterday I had to feel about in Tatty's cup and remove the wool off the top to see the eggs.
I could feel something under the wool and it was two eggs, If you didn't feel into the cup I am guessing eggs will be in there it looks like that cup is covered to me and something is being hidden.
