I've been trying to master the recordings on my DVR. After much faffing getting around the lack of compatibility of Hikvision software with macs and newer versions of safari I have eventually been able to view live and playbacks from my boxes on my MacBook. I have attached a clip from todays Starling visit below. Also whilst perusing the alarms on my other boxes I came across one from last Wednesday showing a visit of a Great Tit to my side box. Alas there was only one occasion he came in and he has not been back since.
On the topic of the faulty camera....today I received two Sony effio 720TVL cameras. To much wailing I find that it was not the camera but the blooming cable that's somehow gone! So I've had to temporarily use the cable from the side view box to get pictures from the log box. image is not too bad considering its a 420TVL and has little light in the box. The third video is my first view of Mrs Blue tit in her log box!
