It is only a good sign that he is trying to get a female into the box.
Seeing both birds this "late" into the season is only a plus!
As you know he already got a first female nesting elsewhere seeing signs of him pairing with a second female and bringing her into your box shows she's got no nest.
If he was just the male on his own then I wouldn't be too excited but both birds at this stage is really only a good sign!
I really hope this picks your box, As Matt said if anything is going to happen its going to be this week / weekend possibly early next week before losing hope.
But nest wriggles and both birds should be taken as a good sign
