Hi Ben and Matt, sorry to hear no nest of yet Ben.  I feel it’s still a little early to make any conclusion re numbers as still time for birds to start a nest.  Having said that it has been widely reported that last years bad spring with the ‘beast from the east’ at such a critical time for the birds has decreased the bird population for this year.  Fewer eggs/chicks surviving to make mating pairs for this year.  Let’s hope more nest will get started and we can get the population back up  .
