Elle I honestly wouldn't worry about the "not secure" warning. It is just telling you that your communication with the forum is not encrypted, so - in theory - someone could intercept what you are reading/writing here. It is not a big deal for a forum like this, but of course if you saw the "not secure" warning when you tried to go to your banking site then you should be concerned.
