Managed to capture this little piece of film of my Starling in the box the other day. Couldn't hear the noise it was making on screen here but definitely talking to some other bird outside through the nest hole. I'm not sure if it is searching for food in particular although it did pick something up from the corner, what does anyone think? Meantime I'm waiting patiently to see if anything develops in the coming weeks.
The ' long thing' on the floor is not a septimus it was its calling card. When I first switched on my spirits lifted as I thought it was a twig! I was soon proved wrong.
