Well Paul, like your Tatty, Poppy has been out all day apart from a handful of visits to deposit more feathers, however she came in earlier tonight at 7.20, sat on nest for a couple of mins then started nose diving which I know from past means she has got eggs although i I didn’t see anything at that time. I have been watching her while she’s sleeping, then she woke up and adjusted the nest and I caught site of 2 eggs but I wasn’t sure whether I glimpsed a 3rd?? By rights there should be 3, as she started roosting on the 9th. She has kept the cup really well covered today though. weather is up & down all day, sunny & warm then next minute dull & cold, we are getting arctic blast at weekend so who knows what’s gonna happen, the temperature really drops in the evenings, thank heavens for central heating because I’m a right cold a..e!! She definitely seems to know what she’s doing though so I can relax a little Elle xx
