Thats what Tatty as been doing for around a 5 days now,
Very limited visits during the day and when she does visit its just to add a feather or abit of wool.
Then of a night before she roosts all her focus is on the cup fitting it etc, She is showing all signs she is laying but I don't actually know if she is or not.
I mean my sparrow nest as been complete for nearly 2 weeks now she only started laying yesterday, It seems like this year its alot of nest being complete then waiting to lay an egg.
Which is a good sign for late nesters who can complete a nest within 2 or 3 days and start laying straight away, So people like Matt, Karen,Pete, Amanda, Phil still have a little hope.
