Oh Ann, these birds will drive us crazy - if we’re not already so . Maybe you are right Ann and an egg has been laid hence the excited in and out - who knows Without a camera to understand what’s happening it’s all a mystery to us I truly hope so for you Ann. I am feeling a lot more positive at this moment. Am now sure it is my male and beginning to think it is my female. Haven’t seen her since Saturday morning when I look back, and male has definitely been panicking along with me. The female that arrived followed by another male this morning ???? seemed very nervous and kept looking about But after second male (I think) was sent packing, she seems to have calmed and the male is following her everywhere. She has even started raiding my flower baskets and gone into the box with whatever she took. There is a mark by one of her eyes that wasn’t there before so I wonder if she was in a fight or trapped somewhere. Whatever, I now think she is back and looks like nesting will resume. Can’t tell you how happy that makes me feel. Sue
