Hi everyone, a quick update. Still no sign of the female, but the male has returned twice this morning. If he hadn’t Paul I was going to check the nest but feel I should leave it as he is still ‘looking’. If I hadn’t heard the awful noises before she went missing I would not be so convinced. Each time he has appeared he just looks in the box then sits on the fence calling. As I type this he has just appeared again and hanging on to the hole just looking around. Once I know he is no longer coming I will check box properly.
