Thanks Matt I will keep it to a minimum because I do it from Youtube, but pics are from the other you suggested. 
Paul, As said earlier had another longer visit today about 2 mins in the box. I cannot be sure because my indoor amp is poor but I think I heard the bird calling or chattering to one outside. Couldn't go and look of course cos it was pre-recorded. Do they tap the box at all? The call which came from the inside was close to a sharp but gentle wow wow sound ,it had it's head out of view in the hole. Is it wishful thinking or have I heard something else, trying not to get my hopes up here! I am going to ask hubby if he could direct one of our outside CCTV camera's from the front drive up to the box if it has the range.
