Hi Beechnut, the highs and lows of this time of year...it is awful. 
I know what you mean though. Don't give up hope. At least she's still tending the nest...she could just be waiting for that final trigger. I haven't seen one great tit even look at my boxes this year (apart from the one checking out the ivy Robin box) and normally they do have a look...although they never stay
