Same here Kathy,
All my gardenature boxes have 4 little cuts in corner and my sparrow box and new starling box (both from cj wildlife) have 4 small holes that was probably done with a drill.
I would drill holes in bottom of all 3 your boxes 4 little holes in the base this will allow more air in and nearly every box as some kinda holes / openings on the base anyway.
