Busy BT time over the past few days...the moss is building up, with layers of stripped stalks off nearby flowering shrubs, and today the feathers and fluffy bits are starting to be added.
The little nest cup is taking shape, thanks to regular wriggles and shuffles.
All in all making good progress...
However, a pair of GTs are still quite interested in this box and have popped in on a few occasions to check it out. They seem a bit puzzled by all the nesting material....not clear if it's making them think twice, or whether they're hoping to usurp the poor BTs.
Will have to wait and see...!
